Cheyanne G. Mietchen
Cheyanne received a Bachelor of Arts in Health and the Human Sciences with a minor in Occupational Sciences from the University of Southern California. She then moved to Massachusetts to receive her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Boston University. The majority of Cheyanne’s clinical experiences center around pediatrics, varying from early intervention, school-based settings, and outpatient pediatric clinics. She has worked with children of various ages and diagnoses/disabilities (i.e. ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Spinocerebellar Ataxia, Hemiplegia, Hydrocephalus, developmental delays, and learning disabilities). Cheyanne is a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS). She has specialized training in the Beckman Oral Motor Approach and is working towards obtaining her Advanced Practice in Swallowing, Assessment, and Intervention Certification (SWC) to help children with oral motor and sensory based feeding challenges. Cheyanne is passionate about providing a fun, inviting, and collaborative therapeutic experience for children, their families, and any other members on their interdisciplinary care team.
